Before travelling to Flinders Island, there are several important things to know. Firstly, Telstra is the only network provider on the island, so you will need to purchase a Telstra pre-paid sim card for reception. Secondly, the locals have a habit of waving to each other while driving, so don't be confused if you receive a friendly wave.
